SUNY New Paltz is seeking two qualified counselors to work in our Psychological Counseling Center. These positions are full time 10 month positions and will be available August 13, 2015.
Responsibilities include: brief individual/group therapy, after-hours crisis assessment intervention on a rotating basis; outreach and program development; training, consultation, university services, MSW and MHC intern supervision. Positions require periodic evening/weekend activities.

Qualifications

PhD/PsyD/DSW Preferred. Counseling Center experience and NYS licensure/eligibility required.
LMHC and LCSW with College Counseling Center experience will be considered. Candidates with sub-specialty and demonstrated experience in Disordered Eating, Sexual Trauma or LGBTQ experience highly desirable.
